As part of its participation in the CURATIO International Medical Tourism and Preventive Health Fair, the University of Health Sciences in Gdansk will present two lecture topics presented by experienced health science experts.

On September 23, 2022 at 13:00 on Stage A, Przemyslaw Malich, M.D., will give a lecture entitled Covid-19 through the eyes of a physiotherapist – patient characteristics, symptoms, recovery options.

Mr. Przemyslaw Malich is a graduate of the J. Rusiecki University in Olsztyn. He is a certified manual therapist, a participant in the Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, a lecturer at the Higher School of Health in Gdansk, as well as the owner of Manual Therapy – Malich Przemysław.
 
On the second day of the event, September 24, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about diabetes by attending a lecture by Ms. Ewa Dygaszewicz, entitled “Diabetes. Patient with Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes“, which will be held at 15:00 on Stage B.

Ms. Ewa Dygaszewicz is an experienced specialist in dietetics, a certified diabetes educator, as well as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Polish Association of Diabetics in Warsaw and President of the Regional Branch in Gdansk. Ms. Ewa in 2020 in Pomerania prepared and carried out the international KiDS program for children affected by diabetes.

For many years, she has been giving lectures and dietary workshops for diabetics, educational boards in the care of a child with diabetes in an educational institution, senior citizens, people with disabilities and participants in activation projects. She is the author of three books with recipes for dietary dishes “We cook”, “Direction of health” and “Vegetarian dishes for diabetics” developed for people with disabilities.
 
In addition, participants of the event will have the opportunity to visit the stand of the Higher School of Health in Gdansk, where specially prepared attractions will be waiting:

  • Physiotherapy consultations, including massages.
  • Dietary consultations, including body composition analysis.
  • Sugar level testing.

Visitors will also be able to get acquainted with the attractive educational offer of the Higher School of Health in Gdansk and inquire about the possibility of improving their qualifications by taking up a new field of study in the health sciences.
