The Specialized Hospital in Brzeziny is one of the most modern facilities in Lodz province. More than 190 beds are available for patients in nine wards. We also offer commercial services: both inpatient and outpatient treatment.

Our structures include the Center for the Treatment of Diseases of the Large Intestine under the leadership of Professor Adam Dzikie, which is the first medical center of its kind in Poland. Patients here can count on comprehensive care: rapid oncological diagnosis, necessary specialized medical consultations, surgical procedures and treatment in the chemotherapy department. We also provide follow-up care and rehabilitation. We perform a highly innovative method of oncology treatment – HIPEC, which involves intraperitoneal administration of hyperthermia perfusion chemotherapy for the treatment of peritoneal metastases.

We are the only Center in the region to be certified by the Society of Polish Surgeons for endoscopy, and one of the few in Poland to be accredited by the Polish Society of Oncologic Surgeons for innovative HIPEC treatments.

As part of the hospital’s structures, we have launched a state-of-the-art Center for Procedural and Bariatric Endoscopy under the direction of eminent specialist Dr. Michal Spychalski, who trained in the best centers in the world, including Japan, the USA, Norway and the Netherlands. Our center specializes in the treatment of obesity by endoscopic gastric reduction (ESG), intragastric balloon implantation, and endoscopic treatment of achalasia (POEM). All of these methods are alternatives to classical surgery, with a much lower risk of complications. The center has state-of-the-art endoscopic equipment, allowing for quick and precise diagnosis.

In 2019 and 2022, due to the recognition of patients of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department, our Delivery Room took first place in the Lodz province and in the “Voice of Mothers” ranking of the Rodzić po Ludzku Foundation. This award confirms that we maintain a high standard of perinatal care and provide full safety to our parturient patients and their newborns.

Our partners are the Radom Oncology Center and the Gamma Knife Center Warsaw; thanks to which patients can count on comprehensive oncological treatment, including non-invasive gamma knife treatment of brain tumors.
